Originally from Smithers, BC, part of Boothroyd Indian Band, Amber grew up in Fort McMurray, AB. Amber recently moved to Kelowna, B.C and has made some big sacrifices, leaving her husband, kitties, and father behind in Kelowna so she could pursue her boxing career in Edmonton, AB. Amber was homeless from 13-17 years old until social services got ahold of her. At 17 years old one of her social workers suggested she try a boxing class to help cope with my anger issues and addictions.Coming from such a hard background she was overconfident entering the boxing club and immediately humbled by her first boxing class. She enjoyed the challenge and immediately felt purpose. She grew hungry for the sport and it's been the centre of her life ever since.
